In India, one of the well-known MPVs is the Toyota Innova Crysta. The Japanese automaker regularly updates the vehicle, which has been on the market for a while.

The Toyota Innova Hycross, a version of the vehicle driven by a hybrid engine, was recently presented by the manufacturer. In addition to the hybrid version, the Toyota Innova Crysta electric has been discussed for a time and was previously shown as a concept car. The electric MPV has been tested on public roads, but it has taken some time to get the concept to work.
Toyota may be testing a new chassis for its ladder-on-frame vehicles based on the testing of the Toyota Innova Crysta electric. If successful, this could be a significant innovation for the automaker to further electrify its model lineup. American automakers like Ford, GM, and others are already well-versed in the practise of converting ICE models to electric.

The Toyota Innova Crysta EV’s exteriors are largely based on the ICE model with a few modifications. The absence of the grille from the ICE version is the main visual change in the design that can be seen up front. The car also has blue accents all over its body. Additionally, the body of the car has blue highlights that extend up to the taillamps and the company badge on the tailgate.
The Toyota Innova Crysta electric’s release is still a long way off. However, the Japanese automaker is preparing to introduce the Toyota Innova Hycross in India for the country’s MPV enthusiasts. In India, the MPV with the hybrid engine is anticipated to be offered alongside the currently available Toyota Innova Crysta.
